Communist bandit

Communist bandit or commie () is a Chinese language insult against followers of Communism, usually referring to the Chinese Communist Party, the term originated from the Nationalist Government in 1927.
Nowadays outside mainland China, some people against the People's Republic of China also use the term 中共 (literally "Chinese Communist") to refer to the PRC (中華人民共和國(lit. People's Republic of China))〔陳茂雄. (馬英九不該過度依賴中共 ). 蘋果日報. 2008年12月25日.〕, However, it is a widely used neutral abbreviation for Chinese Communist Party in mainland China.〔钟声.
